This statement explains what personal information TOSB Concerts Limited collects when you sign up at sosbandtour.com, why we collect it, who can see it, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law.

Who we are
TOSB Concerts Limited (“TOSB Concerts”, “we”, “us”, “our”) promotes The SOS Band ‘Just Be Good To Me’ 45th Anniversary Tour and runs this website. We are the data controller for the personal information collected here, which means we decide how and why it is used and we are responsible for looking after it.

This statement is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”).
What we collect
Information you give us when you sign up:
- your email address;
- your mobile phone number;
- which of the tour shows you are interested in (Birmingham, Manchester and/or Nottingham);
- a record of your consent: that you ticked the consent box, the date and time, and the page you signed up on;
- whether you confirmed your sign-up by clicking the link in our confirmation email.
Information collected automatically when you visit:
- your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system;
- an approximate location (town, region and country) worked out from your IP address. We never collect your precise location;
- the page or advert that brought you here, including campaign codes in the web address (such as utm tags) and advertising click identifiers from Meta, TikTok or Google;
- information stored in and read from cookies and similar technologies, described below.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, any special category information (for example health, religion or ethnicity).
How we use it, and our lawful basis

Giving us your details is voluntary. If you do not, we simply cannot send you presale or show information.
We do not make any decisions about you by automated means that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small files placed on your device. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that tell a service when a page is viewed or a form is submitted. This website uses the following:

When you sign up, we send Meta and TikTok your email address and mobile number in hashed form (converted into a scrambled code using the SHA-256 algorithm) together with your approximate location, so they can match the sign-up to an advert you saw. Meta and TikTok use hashed data only to match it to their existing users and do not receive your details in readable form from us.
Meta, TikTok and Google also act as independent controllers of the information their own tags collect, under their own privacy policies: Meta, TikTok and Google.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use private browsing. You can control the adverts you see in your Meta ad preferences, your TikTok app settings under Privacy > Ads, and Google My Ad Center. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you signing up.
Who can see your information
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing, and we will not do so. Your details are used by TOSB Concerts Limited only.
Like most businesses, we use a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) to run the sign-up for us. They act only on our written instructions, must keep your information secure and confidential, and may not use it for their own purposes:
- Furiosa, which builds and hosts this website and provides the sign-up and customer database platform we use to store your details and send our emails and text messages;
- the email and SMS delivery services Furiosa uses to deliver our messages to you;
- website hosting and security providers.
Meta, TikTok and Google receive information through their own tags as described in the cookies section above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to a court or regulator, or to protect the rights, safety or property of TOSB Concerts Limited, our customers or others. If TOSB Concerts Limited or its business were sold or reorganised, your information may transfer to the new owner, who would have to use it in line with this statement.
International transfers
Our own records are stored on servers in the European Economic Area, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Meta, TikTok and Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified) or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details. We also review the list regularly and remove contacts who have not opened or clicked any of our messages for three years.
- Unsubscribe records: if you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address or number so we never contact you again by mistake.
- Consent records: for as long as we hold your details, plus up to six years afterwards in case we need to show that you consented.
- Website analytics and advertising data: retained by Meta, TikTok and Google in line with their own policies; Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
How we keep it safe
This site uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Your information is stored on access-controlled systems, available only to people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information and will tell you and the Information Commissioner’s Office if a breach puts your rights at risk, as the law requires.
Your rights
Stop marketing at any time
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at the address below to stop email or SMS marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Your other rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your information (this statement);
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erase your information (“the right to be forgotten”);
- restrict how we use your information;
- data portability: receive the information you gave us in a common, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another organisation;
- object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not charge you and will respond within one month. We may need to ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
Age
This sign-up is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete their details.

This site links to other websites, such as ticket sellers and social networks. We are not responsible for how they handle your information, so please read their own privacy policies.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will tell you before it takes effect.
